About  Farallon del Caribe

If want a relaxing all-inclusive holiday with majestic mountain views, wonderful wildlife & beautiful beaches, you will enjoy Hotel Club Amigo Farallon del Caribe.

Farallon del Caribe hotel sits between the beach & foothills of the beautiful Sierra Maestra Mountains above the azure waters of Marea del Portillo Bay. But this hotel offers so much more than just a fabulous location & you will be equally charmed by the warmth of its staff.

An intimate, smaller resort, Farallon del Caribe will suit people wanting a quiet break in the sun, especially those who enjoy getting back to nature. You will find goats & horses roaming freely, though the grounds are clean & well looked after, while excursions such as horse riding & mountain treks will introduce you to a fascinating array of wildlife.

Part of a larger complex, Farallon del Caribe has more than enough facilities & entertainment for guests, with the disco & evening comedy show both recommended. Farallon del Caribe has good bars & serves quality food at its buffet restaurant, 2 a la cartes & snack bar, while there are also excellent local restaurants. The beach is 10 minutes away & accessible via steps, so may not suit those with mobility concerns, though there is the popular cliff-face swimming pool.

If you are looking for a relaxing break in the sun, surrounded by beautiful scenery & charming people, Club Amigo Farallon del Caribe is the place for you.

The Desembarco del Granma National Park is located in the westernmost part of the Sierra Maestra Mountains, it covers an area of around 25,000 hectares, with beautiful cliffs and tall vertical escarpments that are very well preserved. Its geographical features make it one of the most notable places in the Cuban archipelago and one of world importance. The caves contain abundant evidence that Indians used to live in this area. It contains the second largest and best preserved system of marine terraces in the world. This park became the first place in Cuba that UNESCO declared to be a part of world natural heritage.
